Gondola Tram Modelling Kits
We designed a 3D card modelling kit for Project Object based on the illuminated Venetian Gondola Tram which ran along the Promenade from 1925. The kit is in the form of 3 A4 sheets which have been pre scored ready to colour in, embellish, or simply cut and construct using glue. The kit comes with instructions, can be made by anyone age 6+ and once assembled measures 24 x 13 x 4 cm. The kits are available at the Grundy Art Gallery and Toursit Information Office Shop, Blackpool for £6 per kit.
Below are photos at various stages of production from initial prototype through to final kit and the making some models for the display. Our girls 8 and 6 got involved in making a couple and thoroughly enjoyed decorating them.
