Folk turned out in force despite terrible British weather to support the carnival and artisan market and to stock up on the fabulous produce and handmade goods. The arches were festooned in red, white and blue bunting and afternoon tea was served on vintage crockery with entertainment provided by the fabulous Cotton Club dancers. Deck chairs seemed to be the order of the day and us girls even made it to “Castle Sands” ( a canal side beach) for a spot of sand castle building.

Really enjoyed watching all the members of the Cotton Club Hot Club dancing…. would love to dress and dance like them….. they even have a super cool car! Great day selling with lots of other lovely stallholders ….. underneath the arches!
