We created props and an Aunt Sally board for The BFG, Bear Hunt and Very Hungry Caterpillar, with help from the toddlers at Fleetwood Trinity Methodist Church.

We exhibited work by approx 400 children from workshops at 10 schools based on author Dan Worsley’s wonderful “Myth of the Poolie” who was also there in person, to tell the tale. Made sea creatures with families in the sun and drove home with giant Poolie on our roof rack. Huge thanks to all who took part, visited and helped.

Our Art for Health group displayed their work amongst the trees and on the ground, the sun shone and we made fairies, tiny boats and houses with the many visitors. Great fun! Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped to create a magical installation in the park and to Norma and her daughter for taking charge of the fairy making!

This Saturday our groups will be taking all the work to Stanley Park to create an outdoor art installation for the Wordpool family day. We will be creating a Borrowers’ Tiny World and providing various making activities for all ages. The fun begins at 1pm so hope to see you there!
