We have just returned from a long weekend at Childwickbury Arts Festival near St Albans. The festival is in the grounds of Christiane Kubrick’s amazing estate and attracts talent from right across the UK.

We are very excited to be taking part the following new events this summer. We will be exhibiting at Crafted By Hand in the gorgeous market town of Masham curated by-handevents.com. Town Hall Sunday 1st July 2018 10am to 4pm

Gosh the week kicked off with us being interviewed by BBC Lancashire by Dominic Busby and Rosie Dummer to promote the weekend’s Festival of Making in Blackburn. We had a lovely weekend 6th and 7th May at the maker’s market in St George’s Hall surrounded by 35 lovely makers of wonderful things. We do love makers!

The Maynard, Grindleford

This week we spent two days at the Maynard hotel, Grindleford, Derbyshire for a charity fundraising fair in aid of Macmillan Cancer and the Derwent Rural Counselling Service. Thankfully the hotel was doggie friendly! Saw lots of our fellow stall holders from Treacle and met some lovely new stall holders!

We’ve just returned from a two day maker’s fair in the wonderful Victoria Hall as part of the Saltaire Festival. As well as exhibiting alongside some lovely and wonderfully talented people, we managed to take advantage of giant bubble making and a wonderful performance inside “The Whale” by Talking Birds. All good stuff!
