Has a lovely evening in Blackpool last night at the first teach-meet linking primary teachers to artists and vice versa. It’s hoped that by working together we can encourage more creativity in schools and fill any curriculum conundrums. There were lots of very talented artists present from a broad spectrum of practices including puppet making, film making, printmaking, photography, a cartoonist, shoe designer and painter. Talked to lots of teachers enthusiastic about a more creative approach to learning. Exciting times.

    I just love the whimsy of the pieces like the hot air balloons, but at the same time there is so much attention to detail.
