Lyme Park Autumn Fair

Yesterday was a scorcher at the Lyme Park Autumn Fair, an artisan fair in the most exquisite of settings. We had a stall within the marquees beside spinners, woodturners, candlemakers and cheese makers and the girls were able to do cartwheels all day on the lawn overlooking the wonderful Dutch gardens. As guardians to some delightful Papier Mache Zoo doggie-bears and busts we couldn’t resist venturing out to explore the park, Crow Wood playground, the deer and we even caught a glimpse of Mr Darcy in the boating lake …..ooh er !
